Switchboard Solutions Limited (Switchboard Solutions) designs, manufactures, and maintains electrical switchboards and control panels. We have vast experience with on-site switchboard maintenance and retro-fitting, with Mike Penfold, the Director of the company, having over 50 years experience in the industry. We understand the importance of, and are committed to, providing customers with a competitively priced quality product backed by extensive experience and quality service. Whilst Switchboard Solutions are located in Wellington, we have completed a number of large projects nationwide, in locations such as Dunedin, Timaru, Oamaru, New Plymouth, Napier, Hamilton, Katikati and Auckland. With the cost of shipping reasonably low and being based in a centralised position in New Zealand, Switchboard Solutions are well placed to quote any job nationwide. We have also completed numerous jobs throughout the pacific islands. History
Switchboard Solutions was established by Mike Penfold and his son David in October 2008. Over the last 12 years Switchboard Solutions has gone from strength to strength and is now one of New Zealand's preeminent switchboard manufacturers. Mike has extensive experience in owning and operating a successful switchboard manufacturing and maintenance business. He was a partner at another Wellington Switchboard Manufacturer for 30 years before selling his shareholding in 2006 to focus on other endeavors. Switchboard Solutions was established when Mike and David spotted a gap in the market for a switchboard manufacturing company that focused on offering competitive prices whilst still providing excellent customer service. In 2014, another of Mike’s sons, Nick, joined the business to work predominantly on sales, marketing, and client relationship management. Another staff member, Jason Graham, was made a shareholder and became part of management team in 2017. |
